Textures & Patterns

Went out to meet some old work friends for a few drinks in town today, so took the advantage to put a cheeky outfit together!

I purchased these beautiful ‘Panthera Trouser’ from All Saints on Friday, using my gift card I got for Christmas so I went a little crazy and tried on about 10 items of clothing! I was having a bit of a bad day so giving All Saints a visit perked me up a bit.

I paired them with my new houndstooth print coat that I bought in the Jan sales in Red Herring for an absolute BARGAIN! Along with my gorgeous All Saints bag, a small cropped baby pink chunky knitted jumper from Topshop and to colour coordinate it all I finished my look off with my Jigsaw baby pink, silk pumps. My colours were grey/charcoal + baby pink.

Sometimes it’s a bit risky mixing textures and patterns together but I think as long as the colours are similar or even pretty dark it works quite well. If you have a good eye for style and you like to experiment with different looks then it’s definitely worth it!

It’s now what you wear, it’s how you wear it.
