Need For Feed.

Noo this was not an excuse to show off my delightful shiny new work tops and yess that was 100% a total lie.

There is absolutely no such thing as too much chocolate and most certainly no such thing as too many snacks for that matter, so allow me to introduce to you exactly what you need. Need for Feed.

With a world full of meal substitutes in bars, cakes, shakes and more, we now have another nice alternative meal replacement for the non gym bunnies too! As Feed jam pack these bars with not only just enough protein but fibre, minerals and vitamins too - all the good stuff. To fill a hole when your feeling that slight bit peckish and when in need for a bit of an energy kick with not being put off with sneaky high calories and sugar either. A win, win situation right there! What is honestly not to love?

Move over Nutella! Currently spreading this hazelnut dream on anything that has a surface from toasted bagels, into porridge and on the beautiful base of my Sunday morning homemade pancakes. YAM. To be teamed with a generous dose of a hot cup of brew as there is no better combination than tea and toast.. Except for pizza and champagne - but we're not talking about that sort of breakfast right now.

Don't you hate it when a bag of goodies says that horrible, unnecessary word on it - Share. No. These are absolutely not for sharing because they are much too good for that. That goes for all those goody bags to be honest. These gorgeous dark chocolate balls have serious crunch to them and are incredibly delicious and more-ish, safe to say they did not last five minutes shortly after taking these pictures. I was hardly going to wait once I had at least one decent shot to share with you guys.

Evening Wear with Femme Luxe

I'm back again with another fab collab with the lovelies at Femme Luxe who kindly got in touch to select some more pieces, so I thought I’d show you some of my fave picks from their new arrivals!

One of the best easy go to places for something to suit any ones tastes with their huge range of casual comforts, formal sets and everything and anything in between from shoes to belts and lots more.

These 3 sets that I have chosen are what I like to call in my wardrobe “my go to easy outfits” for any type of evening that you may have planned for your weekend.  Just the thought of an evening outfit either in advance or if like me you leave it to last minute and do not have the time or head space is nether the less always stressful for us girls with our stupidly busy lives.  Having an outfit spring to mind in a matter of minutes makes you hit extreme satisfaction and a huge sense of relief, especially if you know you already have it.

Sexy and sophisticated meets comfort. These outfits allow a lot of room for that food baby as well so if you’re thinking of going out for dinner with your other half then these are the ones for you! ... maybe not so much the black outfit, perhaps just enough room for the 3 espresso martinis? + a side of cheesy chips at the end of the night?

It’s actually such a relief from wearing dresses all the time with evening wear to being able to fully relax and completely comfortable in a proper classy co-ord/set - whatever you want to call them. I’m your typical Tom boy so give me a cute two piece set over a dress any day! Gives me the inspo from bridesmaids when she’s trying on the cheap dress and she’s like "It’s fun, you can twirl, you can move in it, you can spread your legs" I'm sorry but that could not be more fitting for wearing a two piece set.

Let’s talk about the khaki/olive outfit. I feel that now lounge wear is all the rage right now with joggers, chunky trainers and over sized boyfriend jumpers etc we can now extend this comfort of a trend to the next level with our evening wear by tightening it all up a smidgen and replacing the chunky trainers with a stiletto heel instead - same same but kind of different? With the little dressing gown feature like tie around the waist and the luscious ribbed fabric, honestly what is not to love with this one?!

This white outfit is probably most borderline a summer look (lol), but when the days and nights are getting colder and you (if ever) want a break from the darker autumnal or winter tones then a bright, crisp white outfit is exactly what you need.. and helps the skin tone if you can't be bothered to fake tan! A look and style you can easily take from day to night and even wear as genuine lounge wear with a pair of your best slippers at home, it’s an all over white winner.

Satin is still an all time absolute fave trend of mine at the moment and the fact that it comes in the best colour in the world, just sold it to me at an instant pretty much. The cut out top did just enough to finish off this cheeky black number. A sexy pair of trousers that can be paired with just about anything that is sitting in your wardrobe right now... I'm also loving another colour that they have in the wide leg style here a beautiful camel tone to wear in any season.

If you're a huge lover of sets and two pieces check out their links for others here.

At the end of the day I think it's safe to say that we would all feel pretty good when we're kitted out with a few genuinely good co ord sets ready to be worn that can save the day with whatever event that may come our way!

Bathroom Reveal

The one and only room in the house that we can say is actually complete (apart from a decent wash bin) with the main bedroom not too far behind, yay!

I have always had my heart set on black fittings and luckily sharing the same taste as Olly as per usual made every decision pretty easy and entirely equal. Making the convincing run well and truly smoothly.

With renovating from a bungalow in to an actual now house, I can't exactly do a before and after as the whole of upstairs is completely fresh, sparkly and new! However once the downstairs loo is done, expect to see a transformation post then because it will be a big change for sure!

The tiles were the biggest decision of all as we had so many things in mind that we wanted to go for. We were split between honeycomb and herringbone for the layout pattern of the tiles and took us what felt like forever to finally make a decision...  we actually went with neither! LOL. The whole thought of everything flowing through from room to room was/is really important to us so after a long hard think we went with the tiles that will be going on our kitchen floor to go in also the main bathroom and the downstairs flooring loo too. For us, having 2 or 3 different tile types run throughout the house was just a bit too much for our personal taste, and settling for the kitchen tile gave us a huge feeling of relief knowing we were going for the right and safest choice.

We decided that running the tiles from the floor to the wall saved the whole idea of having to look for another tile for the wall too and ended up creating the best effect which we're both really happy with!

The most exciting part of the bathroom for me is the beautiful Lusso Stone sink that we were obsessed with as soon as we laid our eyes on it. With there being no typical round plug hole,  water falling in to the centre of the sink - the design for that was enough for us! We both appreciate different ways of functioning designs. If you haven't heard of Lusso, you need to get involved  - absolutely everything they have to offer is beyond stunning. Although carrying a stone sink up the stairs was a big fat challenge! When it comes to preferences of straight or round edges I much prefer a straight edging and that goes for pretty much everything as I have probably mentioned time and time again throughout my blog. I love having the choice for even with the smallest of details, including the bottle trap and extention tube to sit directly under the sink that is very much on show. The statement of it just had to be square and bold.

If you're a great lover of grey like we are, then you'll understand the great struggle it is to pick a grey colour that doesn't LOOK BLOODY PURPLE...OR BLUE. Ohhh my gaddd the struggle is real and we have come to terms with the fact that picking absolutely anything out in grey aintttt easy. So. What colour did we first paint the bathroom? Yes. Grey. Was it actually grey though? No. Course it wasn't. It actually was a faded lilac. Ew. So much ew. So my really lovely brother in law took a whole day out of his own time to paint our bathroom white for us. It was highly satisfying to see! Bon Voyage purple and thank you very much Sam!!

Overtime I'll be picking up bits and pieces to add to it but for now we will be enjoying the beauty of how it is looking right now.

Let me know what you think.
